Artist Bio | Jordan is an artist living and working in Spruce Pine, NC. Growing up on the east coast, he attended the University of Virginia, where he obtained his BA in both Philosophy and Cognitive Neuroscience. After graduation, he spent the next two in Shargaljuut, Mongolia as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Upon his return, he began his training as a metalsmith, working for two years as a bench jeweler in Virginia. He then moved to Detroit where he was trained as a blacksmith and large-scale steel fabricator. Jordan obtained his MFA from San Diego State University’s Furniture Design and Woodworking program.
