Penland Gallery & Visitors Center

The gallery and school are closed for now while we focus our energy on helping our community to recover from hurricane Helene. This is a resilient and resourceful community of people who are doing an amazing job of supporting each other and those in need around us.

UPDATE: We plan to re-open our online SHOP on Friday October 18th, with special attention on our artists impacted by the hurricanes.

Please note, we are currently without power and have limited access to the internet or cell service. You are welcome to leave messages and send emails, and we will do our best to reply when possible.

The Penland Gallery & Visitors Center is one of the finest showcases for contemporary craft in the Southeast. Attracting thousands of visitors each year, the gallery exhibits and sells work by current and former Penland instructors, resident artists, and former students from around the country. The John & Robyn Horn Gallery, Lucy Morgan Gallery, and the educational Visitors Center Gallery provide a remarkable destination for visitors to Penland School and the surrounding arts community.
