Artist Bio | Erica Low is an emerging artist and maker from Scotland with a special focus on clay. In 2021 they completed a two-year apprenticeship with German potter, Sabine Nemet. Erica came to the US in the spring of 2023 spring as a student in Justin Rothshank’s 2023 Spring Concentration at Penland and has since been the studio assistant for Dan Finnegan’s 2023 Fall Concentration. They have been making pots consistently for around 4 years, primarily firing in reduced atmospheres. Erica currently makes functional atmospheric pots for everyday use.
