Marcell Mrsan is a 6th generation leatherworker, Master Shoemaker, footwear educator, production coordinator, pattern consultant and textbook author.
Marcell received his Master Shoemaker certificate from the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce after devoting years to his craft. He has since worked and gained experience in all facets of the traditional handmade shoe-making process from patterning to upper making to hand finishing. Furthermore, he’s well versed in designing software, footwear industry CADs and is currently the officially appointed Caligola4 by Comelz CAD instructor in the USA.
Marcell has shared a wealth of information via his books and tutorials on his YouTube channel @MarcellMrsan, and markets shoemaking supplies through his company, ZegZug.
I’m a certified Master Shoemaker, educator, and footwear pattern and manufacturing consultant. My goal is to preserve the craft as it has been passed down to us for generations of makers, and at the same time, keep up with the innovations and technological advancements that will help propel the craft into the future.
