JOSH DUVALL

Oklahoma City, OK

Josh Duvall began building boots in 2015 in Oklahoma City. After much studying and deconstruction of older, well-worn boots, he built his first pair with DW Frommer’s book “Western Bootmaking: An American Tradition” and equipment from an abandoned repair shop in the Oklahoma City Stockyards. Hooked on the sounds and smells of a boot shop, he made his way into Lisa Sorrell’s shop and purchased her DVD series on how to make cowboy boots. From there, with the help of many great boot and shoemakers from around the world, he has continued to refine and expand his craft, knowledge, and equipment. He now builds boots from his home shop in Oklahoma City for clients all over America.
