Artist Bio | Misaki Sano is a metalsmith/artist from Japan. After completing her BFA from the California College of the Arts, she received her MFA from San Diego State University in 2019. Combining her background in fine arts and metalsmithing, she designs and creates jewelry and small objects. Misaki finds beauty in things that are simple, subtle, unobtrusive, asymmetrical, irregular, imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. She values things that take time, a quiet mind, and deep understanding.
