Artist Statement | My work comes from the relationship between myself, my tools, and the materials. I love to find out what different tools can do to help me manipulate and shape metal. I am attracted to multiples, to color, to texture. I like structure, but also creating an idea of something more organic and fluid through the use of rough and faceted stones. I am constantly experimenting and pushing myself with my work – both in a design and a technical sense – while keeping true to the aesthetic of the body of work I have already developed.
