Artist Statement | I am a jeweler. Through my work, I explore traditional jewelry and reinterpret classical shapes. My starting point is often an iconic jewelry theme that I investigate with different techniques and methods. My work is developed through intimate material knowledge, and often embodies the sublime and transcendent nature of jewelry.

I have two main studio practices. One is a personal practice, where I have control over the process and focus on making individual jewelry pieces. I also engage in collaborative work. I am one of the founding members of the group A5, an artistic collaboration focused on adornment, the body, and jewelry in cultural contexts. The Jewelry Dinner is another collaborative project focused on jewelry, performance, and critical discourse. My practice depends on these two different sides: the focused personal practice and the experimental collaborative practice.
