Artist Bio | Adam Whitney is a metalsmith who has worked & lived throughout the United States and abroad obtaining experience from a range of projects and teaching. At his studio he spends time hammering sheet metal into volumetric forms, constantly exploring the possibilities of silversmithing and pushing his understanding and knowledge of the craft. His skill set is varied and reflects the wide processes and techniques pertaining to metalsmithing. His recent work employs traditional silversmithing techniques to create functional objects and heirlooms. When not in the studio, Adam travels to work on projects and to teach workshops, bringing his passion for metalsmithing wherever he goes.
