SPRING 2023 WORK-STUDY PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP OPENINGS
Penland has a handful of scholarships available for our spring concentration. Enrollment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Tuition: $3,218, due upon acceptance
- Processing fee: $25
- Work-study requirements: 20 hours/week helping in The Pines dining hall.
- Room and board: included
- Arrival: 9 AM Saturday, March 4th
- Departure: Friday, April 28th
Students are responsible for travel to/from the school, and a materials fee which is payable at the end of the session prior to departing campus.
In addition to working during the session, work-study students are required to work from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on the day before their session.

- Alex McClay, books studio, Form, Content, Book
- Kit Paulson, flameworking studio, Borosilicate Fieldnotes: The Explorer’s Notebook
- Stephen Yusko, iron studio, Forged and Finished
- Celia Pym, textiles studio, Visible Mending: Damage and Repair
- Yuri Kobayashi, wood studio, Design with Curvature
