Wet-plate collodion photograph on black glass

$90.00

Wet-plate collodion is a historical photographic process in which a piece of glass is coated with light sensitive emulsion and exposed while still set. Afterwards it is developed producing a negative image that when put against a black background produces a positive image. These images were shot with a view camera and are one of a kind.
