Paulus Berensohn and Caverly Morgan - Slow and Savor: Mindfulness and Service in the Craft Arts

This workshop will be a hands-on exploration of the practice of mindfulness with craft as the medium. We will work with clay, journal making, paste-paper painting, drawing, writing, and mending. The workshop will explore craft as a vehicle for deepening one’s experience of the present moment and for being of service in the world. Lisa Blackburn and John Hartom will lead us in a hands-on Empty Bowls experience, and will share information about other craft-based service projects. The workshop will involve meditation, mindful movement and periods of silence. All levels: no prior experience in craft or meditation required. Code 03CB
