Wow! The Bread and Puppet Circus from Vermont performed at Northlight. It was a last-minute booking, but we managed to scare up a packed house—literally overnight. They put on a great show with a brass band, cloth horses, burlap donkeys, paper tigers (of course), tap-dancing frogs, mysterious puppet characters, sharp-pointed politics, singing, dancing, and an amazing energy level throughout.
